The Glenview Park District is excited to open Park Center Childcare and Preschool to provide half day school year programming, and full day year-round preschool and child care for our community.

Park Center Preschool is a DCFS-licensed program featuring a staff of highly-trained educators. Our state-of-the-art classrooms are located in a secure wing of the building, and we have taken many precautions to help reduce student and staff exposure to COVID-19.

Registration is still open. For more information, contact us at

Park Center Preschool is guided by a “learn through play” philosophy giving children opportunities to discover, problem solve and build self-esteem. Children receive carefully planned guidance while exploring the environment.

The 3’s program focuses on social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. The 4’s program finds creative ways to challenge our students while preparing them for a smooth transition to kindergarten.

We recognize that in-person learning and socialization are especially critical during a child’s first learning experiences. Please know that your child’s safety is our top priority. Before the school year begins, our teachers and staff will participate in extensive health and safety practices training following all CDC guidelines. During the school year, the park district has implemented many new procedures that comply with all DCFS, state and CDC safety guidelines for preschools, including:

  • Starting with small groups of children.
  • Requiring daily health checks for all children, caregivers, staff, and visitors.
  • Frequently sanitizing all high-touch surfaces.
  • Wearing face coverings in hallways and when entering/exiting the facility and, to the extent practicable, in classrooms.

  • Curriculum aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards and Public School Systems
  • Classrooms differentiate to accommodate the diversity of learners
  • Collaboration with families to ensure your child’s success
  • All meals and snacks included
  • Nut-safe and allergy sensitive environment
  • Secure preschool wing
  • In-house field trips from Historic Wagner Farm and The Grove
  • Special Events – Apple Stand, Airplane Trip and more
